This is a “skin” from my [desktop sidebar]. It was really nice on its own but it didn’t fit with my themes. I searched the site for more and they were all really great but I just couldn’t find one for me. So, since this was the closest to what I needed and I knew how to trick it - thats just what I did. This goes with a gadget thing called Desktop Sidebar, WinXP (I haven't the courage to make the Vista leap as yet) and the sidebar is freeware... Its really handy too! Click [Desktop Sidebar] in the description - it'll take you there and you can get an idea what it is :) and ... thank you, its my first skin for this, I really only modded the graphics a bit - the original artist deserves the credit :-)

Sounds interesting. I have yahoo widgets right now on my desktop but they're all over the place.
I have vista on my laptop. It's OK but I like XP better :D

Well, I tried Google deskbar, I liked that it was one column, but it was SO much of a RAM hog... I wanted the bar badly because I'm just geeky that way ;) but then I found this thing, its about 10mb installed and I had it loaded with RSS and everything and its not used more than 18mb of RAM at full force yet. I did a post about it when I blinged my desktop if you'd like to see the little details: [link] I haven't tried Yahoo's stuff but this thing is pretty nice to me so far...

Well I do have windows blinds and skin studio but I need to hone my skills on them. ^^;
But I did find a skin that I'm happy with for now until I'm in the mood to surf some more. :)
